Needless to say; everything in our lives starts in the spirit, EVERYTHING, even you&I for we are spirit beings after all, so I too started in the spirit, that’s my very beginning, the beginning of my life…

I couldn’t even begin to count them—

Ever wondered why God would invest so much in us? He did not speak us into existence, He chose to make us instead, in His image, fearfully and wonderfully, mold us, breathe life into us, watch over us, provide for us, never forsake us, like NEVER! God Himself, the creator of heaven (ever read the book of Revelation’s depiction of heaven?) and earth (ever heard of the earth? the waters in the Maldives, the nature in Bali, the immovable mountains around us, us as in you&me? need I say more about all we can see and not see?) This all-powerful, all-capable, self-sufficient God cares so much about you and me that He has invested, is investing, and will invest in us, (us!)
Now, I am not going to sit here and pretend to know everything there is to know about investments, yeah? but I know for a fact, those who make investments, do so because they see the value in that investment, they put a lot of thought into it, money, research, you name it, until they are sure it will not be a waste, it will not be in vain.
For the sake of this blog, allow me to go right ahead and personalize this a bit. Just like He did for you, God invested in me, He invested His time to write a book about my life before my dad even married my mom, in fact, He ‘knew’ me before I was even a human being. The Merriam Webster dictionary defines ‘know’ as
‘to understand something & have a clear & complete idea of something
In other words, God had a complete understanding of all there will ever be to me before I was even in existence & He went ahead & knit me together Himself in my mom’s womb. Surely, He could have just spoken me into existence & said; ‘let there be Delsha’ and there was, but nope, He chose to do it Himself, WOW! Not to flex, but even today, God still counts the number of hairs on my head you know, haha!
(cough cough) As you shall/shall not discover on this blog, I am a woman of many words, but I don’t want to exhaust you already so I will just conclude by saying; I Delsha Rufaro Lydia was God’s idea, I still am, not just a vague idea, an idea He has consistently invested in.
What does this have to do with you though? (you might/might not wonder) It pretty much means God loved you too, He loves you now & will always love you, very passionately, intentionally, consistently, the love is so vast and wide that even Christ had to come down from His throne, to become like you, His creation, so as to die for you with the intent of bringing you back to basking in His love! Amazing, isn’t it?! As such, do yourself a favor and confidently walk into the fullness of His love for you daily, hold on to Him for dear life, He is truly the most constant good you could ever experience, even after you die…
